What is the Capital Ring?

The Capital Ring is a 125km walking route connecting London’s green spaces in a single continuous loop. Originally designed to encourage walking in the capital, the route is split into sections to be completed as separate walks, say, on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

OR, if you want something a bit tastier - a single ultramarathon, perhaps...?

We’ve taken the Capital Ring route, put our start and finish line at the closest point to our home and then split it into eight larger sections where our support crew will be to help us refuel, wipe away our tears and set us on our way.

Our goal? To leave Tooting at dawn and be back there (via the longest route) before it’s dark. All to raise money for The CF Trust and Royal Brompton Hospital.
